Easter week activities!

Happy B-day blog!! My first blog was last year on the 24th :D
I forgot the mention that last post...

Hey gang,

Life has been fun so far since the last post. Things have been bust in the world of Joe and it will only get busier :P

SCHOOL - I finished up the two classes with a B in Chem and a C in ECE 201; not too bad. I am upset at the C though and might retake it to get a better grade. For now, I am moving on with Linear Algebra and ECE-C 302, which is VHDL. Its a geeky EE programming language (I hate programming), and so far it isn't too bad. I can connect remotely thru the Drexel site and access the servers with my files and whatnot on them, so at least I don't have to be there to do labs and such. Linear Algebra isn't bad yet, but it is with the same instructor that did Dif-EQ with. No trips scheduled, so hopefully I can make a full 10 weeks without missing a beat.

WOW- Nicole and I haven't logged in and played any significant time since I returned from my last trip, and as such we are highly considering to closing the accounts. Also, since my good friend Wayne closed his account, we have noone else to go questing with anymore, as the guild is trying to get to the next big dungeons. At least if we do close them that the characters wont go away forever on the server..

PAINTBALL - things are going to be fun this summer :D I played last weekend (the 2nd) alone, but made some new friends out there at ONTARGET. WE played several games on the desert combat field and another on the Fortress field. Least to say by noon I was out of paint and had a missing piece on my marker, so I had to leave. Last that day I went to the paintball store down in Voorhees and replaced the part, but not before I saw my next marker - the Tippmann A-5 with some mods, namely the FLATLINE barrel and a stock; I already have a remote for my current marker (aka GUN), so that's a nice thing :D. Overall, the entire thing will cost around $400, unless I can get some deals here and there. eitherway, a few of the guys out there had this setup and after talking with a few, most are happy with it. Since we will be playing alot of 'woodsball' this summer, I hope to get it soon..
Here is a quick pic of the finished thing I hope to get:

In other news, Nicole and I are about to be blessed with... our first BEDROOM SET :D. LONG story - We went to visit my mom this weekend and the first place we went to was a Raymore and Flanigan store up there to shop for an entertainment center. After getting there, they took off and when I came back into the store they were in the bed sectional; we found a 'last-one' set that looked like the one my mom and George have- its a mini tower over the two end tables with a chest, armoire and dresser. The set was listed after a sale at $2899 => $3100 after tax. Two things: 1) no delivery and 2) has to be gone within 3 days of the sale. WE considered it and left. Sunday we drove home and when we got off of the TP, we went to the Cherry hill store and walked in. After talking to a nice lady there, she took us to the same setup with a clearance price of $2300 => $2500 after taxes. We asked about holding it and she said till Friday. Also, she has a local company that can deliver it to us for a small fee ($100-200) was my guess, but for the 5 pieces and no moving headache.. The only catch is that the Chest piece has a few bad drawers near the bottom. SO, we purchased it and set up the delivery, but I will make the final yes/no tomorrow afternoon when I go look at the repair job their people will do with it.

We will take a few pics if its in our bedroom by Friday night..

Oh well - Back to BF2 :D I'm really digging the game now..I made SGT and unlocked a few more guns. Also, I'm diggin the engineer - I love mining places and am trying to get my pin for 13 kills with mines with it..

tonight is the ESPN Paintball thing on TV. Check it out Tonight!!

Until the next time :D
